Rare working with Nintendo again

Diddy Kong Racing for DS is being worked on by Rareware. Formerly owned in part by Nintendo, Rare has been working for Microsoft, delivering titles such as Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo for the Xbox 360. While Microsoft contracts prohibit Rare from developing games for the Wii, it does allow them to create games for handheld devices such as the Nintendo DS.

Rare has in the past let their properties emerge on the Game Boy Advance, though Diddy Kong Racing is the first time one will appear on the Nintendo DS.

Diddy Kong Racing for DS has the ability for the user to create their own tracks. As well, the game will suport Nintendo WiFi connection, and wireless multiplayer.
